The Akrapovic Racing and Evolution exhaust systems are the top of the line product for this motorcycle, and are designed for most demanding riders and racers. The increases in power and torque can be clearly seen from the dyno measurements and felt while riding. Beside better acceleration and traction you will also benefit from weight savings, especially in the case of Evolution model that is made entirely of titanium. The muffler includes a noise damper for the European market, and an approved spark arrester for the US market, that brings down noise level to 94 db.  Performance   Measurements of the Akrapovic EVOLUTION system on the YAMAHA WR250F (with muffler insert):  Power & Torque: Engine performance is increased throughout the entire rpm range. The power curve is steeper and smoother, and the increases are highest in the middle and on the top of the rpm range. We measured max. power output of 32 HP at 12.430 rpm and max. increase of power of 2.9 HP at 7.790 rpm. The torque also gets a major boost, which is strongest in midrange. With Evolution system you will also save 1.84 kg compared to stock exhaust system.
