We didn't mess around with the design of the NEO kneeguards! A full Kevlar impact panel resists punctures, tears, and abrasion, covering multiple layers of foam and rigid knee protection. Crazy comfortable, with a virtually non-existent break-in period.  Full Kevlar impact panel for maximum resistance to tears and abrasion. Internal, rigid plastic kneecap on top of multiple layers of impact-absorbing EVA foam. Inner and outer knee side padding. Low-profile, "second skin" design resists both downward and rotational forces. Thrash-tested by the Rockgardn Factory Team.
