So 'Shakki' doesn't actually mean anything. It's merely an English ear trying to describe the sound of a Japanese tattoo being applied. As the needles are pulled from the skin they make a sound that resembles 'shakki'. Of course we only know this through the internet. The closest we've been to a Japanese tattoo is the really cool Kanji symbol for 'Loyalty' inked on the side of our neck.
