And in addition to improved performance, they also deliver a major aesthetic enhancement, as the HEXAGONAL muffler works extremely well with the lines of both motorcycles. You will also save almost 7 kg compared to stock system.  Measurements of the Akrapovic EVOLUTION system on the BMW K 1200 S, R (without muffler insert):  Power & Torque: since the two bikes are closely related, the shape of their power and torque curves are very similar. Only their outputs are different, with the S model being a bit more peppy. Since these are complete systems they are designed to increase power and torque at the top of the range. Thus max. increased power for the S model is 9.3 HP at 10550 rpm and for the R model 7.3 HP at 9960 rpm.  This is the flagship of the Akrapovic exhaust system range, used and tested by our top factory teams in motorsport racing. It is simply the finest exhaust system available. Each model is unique and dedicated to maximizing the performance of an engine, while reducing overall weight for optimized handling of the whole motorcycle. It is made entirely of titanium, with the muffler outer sleeve available in carbon fiber as well.
